Hack The Crisis In India
We are in the search for ideas, with the special focus on containment of Coronavirus (COVID-19) with the intent to develop solutions to deal with its aftermath!
FICCI FLO Pune, Ministry of Electronics and IT, MeitY, MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) (Govt of India), Garage48, Accelerate Estonia, Robotex International (India Initiative), Science and Technology Park, Pune (Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India initiative), APJ Abdul Kalam Centre have gotten together to take a lead in India on the movement, that has gotten global in less than a couple of days:
The intent of this hackathon is to develop ideas that:
- are prototypeable in 48-hours which could help solve the crisis;
- give India an edge in the post-crisis words
As COVID-19 has now become a public health emergency, therefore, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (AKTU) in collaboration with National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) Lucknow and Kalam Centre is organizing Online COVID-19 Challenge Ideathon. The students of AKTU are encouraged to share innovative Ideas to develop innovative solutions to the problems posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in order to join the hands of Government of India and State Government of Uttar Pradesh to help the society in this unprecedented situation. Maybe with some delay, we are beginning to marshal our counter-attack against the coronavirus. In times of crisis, speed is crucial, and the sooner we know more and take action, the better for all of us.
This would be weekly challenge, whereby, the new set of challenges shall be posted every week. Three best ideas would be awarded and acknowledged.
